NCT Dream Boom MV Theory

So, I’ve seen that many of nctzens think that Haechan here like the head of bang, boss of the mafia, but I think it’s different. NCT Dream in his head or in some alternative reality under his control. Jeno is the one and only who trying to escape from it! While Haechan is not with Dreamies he was like leader and Haechan trying to take his role. So I think BOOM is about their fight and one of the Jeno’s trying to get out from Haechan dream/reality.

0:00 Eclipse is like the symbol of two sides: white day (luxury, wealth, power) and black night (artificial, rough, bold). In the daytime they are what the Haechan wants to see, but at night they are on their own.

Also, at 0:46 we see a storm, as it overtakes them in different locations. The beginning of the clip is a short review of the whole plot.

Jeno tried to reach Renjun (1:16) through the mirror, who lives in his own world.

One of the reflections of Jeno was able to reach him too (maybe he tried to stop himself), so that’s why mirror cracked (1:43)

They filmed in three different locations: two parking lots and one road near the stadium. They trying to find an exit from this reality and this 3 location was their choice. BUT they chose the wrong one (1:56): an open parking lot with a red car.

The car was tricked by Haechan – this make them to choose this particular path. At 0:34 we see red flames who reached an empty car and they appeared at the same time with Haechan in MV. We also see that they decided to escape in the day, as they are dressed in ordinary clothes and not in costumes. But in daytime they should play according to the Haechan’s rules.

1:38 Jisung runs after Chenle and they smile at each other. Because Chenle is the first to graduate, and because both of them KNOW how to get out of sleep. Both of them are on the Haechan team and are not going to help Jeno get out. On the contrary, they confuse him more.

At first, they thought they had gone the right way - they are walking along the field and are happy (2:19), but then a storm hits them – it’s the Haechan’s anger, who is not happy that they tried to leave.

Haechan falls asleep (2:28) and the next frame we see as 6dream lie in the middle of an artificial meadow with flowers - this is the same field, but the real one (in the Haechan’s head).

Haechan offers them something and they stay this time, not trying to escape. After his appearance all smile (2:31 Chenle, 2:32 Jaemin, 2:47 Jisung&Renjun) except Jeno – he is NOT SMILE AT ALL!

Haechan wakes up with pleasure smile at 2:51 cause He makes Dreamies stay inside his reality.

2:55 Jeno sits down on this “throne” inside Haechan’s head, because he can no longer get out. I think he understands now – exit was at the stadium, but they chose parking. So he is the only one who is sad at the end.

Jisung and Chenle those who do not want to get out of sleep. Chenle plays for Haechan (obeys him), and in the end, we learn that Jisung also obeys, because 3:02 is a frame where they sit three together. Jeno in vain trusted Jisung and Jaemin, because the first one betrayed him.

Also at 3:02 we get knew that Jeno has already tried to escape many times, but every time Haechan clones him. The real Jeno is locked under glass, and all the other reflections are around.

In the end, we see that Jisung also became two 3:00 - because he realized that he had to help Jeno. He fights with himself because he regretted that he didn’t help him. Haechan doubled him up so that the new copy replaced the old one.

AND another one things I’ve noticed but not mention up:

At 0:26 and 1:12 Triple J and Jeno has something in the hand. Also, there water around them. Jisung and Jaemin with close eyes but Jeno with open - he can see everything.

0:35 there two Haechan at chess but figures move by themselves.

At 1:01 we see Haechan and his shadow ‘cause shadow is always in the dream and Haechan in reality.

0:40 Jisung point at the watch like this is important. Maybe it’s like a present from Haechan for his loyalty.

0:45 In Jeno’s eyes you can see 3 figures 00 line. One of them “Hechan” makes the movement “I can not hear you!

0:46 We see clouds gathering - Haechan’s anger because bang wanting to escape.

2:38 - Guys are in the field, but the storm is gone because the Haechan took them back to s

0:58, Jemin’s books fly up and he is surprised. I think this is a hint from Haechan, so that he would not even think about running away with Jeno. and 1:54 - Jeno meets the dog, as a message from Hechan to stop resisting.

0:59 Chenle plays for Hechan. Chenle obeys Hechan of his own free will, he is going to run away.

1:25 - we see that the phrase “my fluttering heart at 100 km/h” is driven by a car, while Jeno is driving because he is the one who wants to get the Dreams out of sleep.

2:21 - Jisung blows out the candles with a smile 'cause he okay to stay in this reality alone

2:54 - everyone is looking at Chenle because he is next (that’s sad I know)
